Scanners love adding blank pages. Exports love duplicating cover sheets. And sometimes a document has one page you simply shouldn’t share. Deleting pages from a PDF takes seconds with the right tool.
When you need this
- Removing blank or separator pages from a scan.
- Cutting an internal cover sheet or pricing page before sending externally.
- Trimming a 200-page export down to the 12 pages that matter.
How to delete pages step by step
- Open Delete Pages and select your PDF.
- Every page is shown as a thumbnail. Click a page to mark it for deletion (it dims with a red ✕); click again to unmark.
- Prefer typing? Enter a range like
1, 3-5, 8and press Apply. - The counter shows “X selected · Y remaining” so you always know what you’ll keep.
- Click Delete and download the trimmed PDF.
Safety tips
- You can’t delete every page. The tool blocks that on purpose — an empty PDF is never what you want.
- Deleting >50% of pages triggers a confirmation, so you don’t accidentally gut a document.
- Removing a confidential page? Deleting the page removes its content entirely from the new file — unlike drawing a black box over it, which leaves the data underneath. (For covering text within a page you keep, use a true redaction tool instead.)
Why browser-based matters here
If a page is confidential enough to remove, it’s confidential enough not to upload. Processing in your browser means the original file — including the page you’re deleting — never touches a server.
FAQ
Does the page count update? Yes, instantly, as you select.
Can I undo? The original file on your device is untouched; just clear and start over.
